London

Photographed the first British Isles cushion with a loveheart on.  It's positioned on London, for anyone who has had a memorable trip there, which perhaps involved an open top bus tour and waving to the Queen and photo opportunities next to guards and red phone boxes.   I'd have been tempted to put the heart on Bradford, to show my appreciation for its Home Bargains and £1-a-metre fabric shop.  But London's possibly more popular...

Our model melted

First he got a big head.  That can happen to models.  Then it rained and he melted.  There's just a carrot, some buttons and a small blob of snow left.  Goodbye prizewinning snowman.  I don't know who will model our aprons now.

South Africa

We've been watching Masterchef South Africa.  It's like a fake Masterchef Australia, with a judge who looks like a dweeby, waistcoat-wearing Duncan Bannatyne and a pantry sponsored by Woolworths.  It's good Woolies lives on somewhere in the world.  I think it's a bit different to our old Woolworths though.  Their Woolies has a sustainable seafood range.  Ours had pick n mix.

Prizewinning snowman!

ThreadSquirrel's 3rd ever tweet has won a prize!  It featured the mini USA-loving snowman.  It's cool to have a prize-winning snowman.  Not sure exactly what the prize is yet; tickets to either the X Factor Tour, Cirque Du Soleil, Jesus Christ Superstar or Paloma Faith at the O2.  Ecclectic.

Snow II

More snow!  Proper snowman-building snow this time.  So we built ourselves some more models.

Still no snowmen barbecue though.

May add the photos to the etsy listings.  They're possibly the most exciting photos of bags we've taken so far.

This one is now @ThreadSquirrel's cover pic on Twitter.  I like it.  I'll maybe have to take a new one for summer though...

snow!

Unfortunately it isn't good snowman-building snow.  We only managed a teeny tiny thing.  He was at least useful for modelling child sized aprons though.  Now he is ready to have a barbecue.  I don't know why more snowmen don't have barbecues.

Pudsey is looking very scenic in the snow.  We also discovered the Log Ness Monster in Black Carr Woods.  Look!

This isn't some kind of swamp creature; it's just Ashley.

A custom order

A Norway and Iceland embroidered on cream cushions.  Carole must really really like Vikings...

My camera was so cold the lens steamed up at first.  I don't think it was the 2 snowy countries that did it; I'd just taken my camera on a walk to the cold-but-only-vaguely-snowy woods.
